This assignment was an overview of the progress of our Junior project. I made a screen castify video explaining my project and a slideshow to show the progress, and my next steps.
Which 21st Century Skill do you feel this assignment addresses, and why?
The 21st century skill that I feel this assignment addressed was communication skills because I put together a slideshow with all of my ideas and formatted it in a way that would lead me to a successful presentation.
What are you most proud of from this assignment, and what was most difficult about completing this task?
I am most proud of how organized it is because the junior project is daunting, but I gave myself achievable goals and I was able to finish everything I wanted on time. The most difficult part of this project was the whole process leading up to it. My junior project required me to go out of my comfort zone with big meetings with admin, and being the one in charge.
How did you develop and/or improve upon your 21st Century Skill with this assignment?
I further improved my 21st skills with this assignment by finding the right words to describe my project. I really struggled with the correct wording during my video presentation.
How could you improve this work? If you could start over, what would you do differently?
I could improve this work by probably doing another take of the video to solidify my speech in the presentation. If I had to start over and do it again I would have changed where and how I filmed it because I don’t think it was the best quality.
How does this relate to what you have learned in the past and how can you apply this to future learning?
This relates to what I’ve learned in the past year about being able to take feedback and run with it. That's something I’ve learned is feedback isn’t a back thing, but rather a helping tool. I can apply this to my future learning by being open minded to mishaps/adapting to the situation around you, strengthening my communication skills, and being okay with feedback.
