In this assignment we got to choose a geological time, eon, era, period, epoen, or age. We had groups and I was paired up with Enzo to do the Precambrian time, and we had to research about it. Then present it to the class.
Which 21st Century Skill do you feel this assignment addresses, and why?
The 21st century skill that we addressed during this project was information skills because this was a research project and we had to find quality resources to educate ourselves and others.
What are you most proud of from this assignment, and what was most difficult about completing this task?
I am most proud of our slideshow because it was so nicely organized as well as how much information I learned from this project. The most difficult part of this project was the research part because ours was time, and within a time there's a lot of other eons, eras, periods, and so on that makeup that time. So finding information on specifically the Precambrian time was a challenge.
How did you develop and/or improve upon your 21st Century Skill with this assignment?
I improved my information skills during this project because I further practice finding good sources and how to catch bad sources. I learned a lot about how to properly research during this project.
How could you improve this work? If you could start over, what would you do differently?
To improve this work I would add more information onto my slides to thicken my research, and if I had to start over I would probably choose a different part in the Earth Geological story so that when I researched there would be more information.
How does this relate to what you have learned in the past and how can you apply this to future learning?
This relates to what I learned in the past by how I presented. I always learn from each time I present and my presentation skills continue to improve. I can apply this to my future learning by taking the research skills that I gained from this project and use those in future research scenarios.
